LAD202 is offered in the spring semester 2010. This course will provide a hands-on experience of basic 3D modelling, using standard modelling packages such as AutoCAD and SketchUp for landscape designers. Students will gain knowledge of basic modelling techniques with materials and textures, virtual lights/sunlight and cameras, and rendering stills. The techniques learned in the course will then be applied to a landscape design project. The final output from each student will be a 3D model illustration of a design project.
